I'm not sure I had a choice on the colour (it was picked up by someone else in England) but I would have gone for green to keep it incognito on wild camps, not that I expect that to be a major problem in Norway. Looking forward to giving it a test real soon!
I must admit I have been eying the comp as well, they are a nice looking tent and given what ptc has said they will obviously hold up to a lot of weather. I am interested in the floor as to its robustness, are you intending to us a ground sheet?
Nielsen - Aye, as the man himself would say, it was mostly down to PTC that I went for the Comp. He seems genuinely happy with it for the rough and tumble of Scottish summits so I hope it will stand up to a bit of use in Norway.
I can't comment on the floor and it's robustness yet but at sub-1kg I'll be taking care wherever I pitch it. Those pegs though! They're like bent bicycle spokes that have been dropped in some paint!

My heart swells with joy at the site of that photie!
The fun, excitement, the nailbiting nights in high winds you shall enjoy!
Magic :o)
ptc* - you will either have a lot to answer for or I will be eternally grateful. Watch this space!
p.s. - a couple of manlier pegs have been ordered - just as a precaution you understand ;-)
Lovely things tents. The comp is very nice. Wildcamping for you then.
Martin - just waiting for a few proper pegs to arrive and a free evening/morning...
